Welcome to the 31st edition of Compliance Matters - the UK's original eZine for health and safety compliance in the education sector.

As we start another uncertain year, Handsam would like to reiterate that we will continue to support our clients, no matter what new legislation and government guidance is brought in to help stop the spread of COVID-19. We aim to ensure that all our clients are aware of what they need to do and how they need to do it in a timely and easy to understand format.

In this issue, alongside our regular features, we have articles on supporting the mental health of senior school leaders and the second part of our exploration of our menopause in the workplace feature.

We've updated our Client Support Centre. Now it's easy to find help and support with any Handsam system queries. You can even download each individual guide for future reference. We've also added new guidance for the restraints dashboard and how to change your email preferences for the incident log.
