Updated Handsam Guidance and User Tags
Updated guidance has been added to the Handsam Quick Guide Library
User Tags
Handsam have added a new filtering feature for your users.
As an administrator, you can now assign each user a group, which you can name. You can use this to help you assign, report and remind staff of training requirements. This new feature works alongside the existing Curriculum/Non-Curriculum function, and can be used in conjunction with this group, or as a separate group. Once you have updated your users with their Group Tags, please see the updated “Editing User Permissions” User Guide. You will be able to assign training to just this group by selecting the User Tag that has been assigned to them - please see the updated “Assigning Training” User Guide for further instructions. When you set up a new user you will also be able to add them to an existing Tag Group, or create a new one as explained in the updated “Adding a New User” User Guide.

Account Training Performance Analysis: Training Administrators/Cluster Access
Handsam have added a new function, for use by training administrators, to enable them to view a breakdown of their user's training performance. This function gives you the ability to see how many attempts it took for a user to complete each course, and what questions were answered incorrectly. It will also give you an overview of what training is currently in progress. This view will assist you in identifying staff that may need additional support in certain areas and identifying if a staff member has accessed a certain course. If you are a training administrator across multiple sites, there is the same function within Dashboards, to view this information for all sites in one place. Please refer to the User Guides for these functions, for further instructions.

The Handsam Client Support Website
If you have any questions about the Handsam system, please use the Client Support Website, where you will find advice, guidance and resources which you can view online, or download.

The guidance is divided into two sections: Administrator Support and User Support and within those sections, it's broken down even further. For example, if you had an issue with a user password, you could navigate to the User Support Menu, find the Passwords and Access guidance and look at the clickable list of options. Or, if you're not sure where to look, the magnifying glass icon lets you search every guide on the database.
